A Light in a Dark Time

Who has the economic upset not hurt? Living with economic freedom is one of the most desired and also worried about dream within Americans homes today. Personally, I work at a daycare center and the devastation of the economy has forced may of the parents, of the children enrolled at the center, to loss their jobs thus causing lower numbers of enrollment. With lower numbers means fewer hours for me to work. I am currently only part time right now but because of the economy I am getting fewer hours every week. The burdens of barely be able to pay off the credit card bill and living from pay check to pay check becomes more stressful each day. At times, it is more than I can handle. Although, through the dark times, there is a small light guiding my way. I have come to cherish the friends and family that always have my back, no matter what our country is going through they have looked out for me and I have come to realize who my true friends are.

Community (Blog 3)

In a city as large as Coon Rapids, there are many places where people can talk politics/community. For example, a local bar, the city counsel meetings, school, the gym, or even dinner with some friends and family. The one place I all way find is the best place to discuss politics and the community is when I'm attending parties at my friend Nathan's place(Third Place). The reason for choosing this atmosphere over another, like a city counsel meeting, is because there are always a vast variety of beliefs. In addition, because they are my friends, there is an understanding that we all have our opinions and we have no right to judge or attack one another. We are able to have a discussion and carry on a civil political conversation while generating new ideas. Recently, I was talking with my friends about the local government and the community at large and much of the conversation was pessimistic. With many of my friends knowing family members and friends loosing their jobs there wasn't much hope for the future, what could we except. Many of us share stories of how the economy or the government has hurt us rather than doing their job. Although the talks are generally negative a good discussion always occurs, and thats what really matters.

Hello to all! This is all new to me, making this my very first blog... so lets get started. A blog is blog because it's me. Its my opinion, and my view of life on politics, sports, news or the world, anything I want. A blog is a short journal written and expressed through my eyes. It is also a way for unnamed or well know journalist to gain followers, allowing them to reach all kinds of people. Which is the reason it is energizing. I can add audio, video, and pictures as way to express myself and my thoughts. Also creating a more exciting and interesting blog. Although blogs are great, there are some negatives. For example, being able to please everyone's views. Not everyone is going to like my style of blog meaning I could miss out on viewers that could leave great comments for my improvement. Well, I hope everyone has a great day and enjoyed reading my view point of what a blog is. Make sure to leave comments. Like I said I am new at this and every persons voice will help me become better at it.
Love, Eleacia
